Welcome to Lens! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your ("you," "your," or "user") use of the Lens AI-powered video editing platform (the "Service"). By using Lens, you agree to these Terms, forming a legally binding agreement between you and Lens ("we," "us," or "Lens").
1. Overview
a. Using Lens.
Lens provides AI-driven video editing tools enabling users to efficiently edit, generate, and publish videos. You can upload your videos ("User Content") and utilize Lens tools to edit your content. Lens grants you a non-exclusive, revocable license to access the Service subject to these Terms.
b. User Accounts.
Each user must maintain their own secure account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
2. Access to the Service
a. Age Requirement.
Lens is available only to users aged 13 and above or the minimum legal age required by your jurisdiction.
b. Acceptable Use.
You must use Lens responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms. Any unauthorized, harmful, discriminatory, or illegal use is prohibited.
3. Content
a. User Content.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Lens a license to store, process, and display your User Content strictly to provide and improve the Service.
b. Restrictions.
You must not use Lens for:
- Reverse engineering or creating derivative works
- Unauthorized access or hacking
- Sharing malicious content
- Violating intellectual property rights
4. Billing and Payments
Lens offers free and paid subscription plans:
a. Subscriptions.
Plans are monthly or annual and auto-renew. You can cancel anytime via account settings. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
b. Taxes.
Pricing includes applicable taxes based on your billing information.
c. Pricing Changes.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, notifying you within 30 days in advance.
5. Privacy and Data Security
Lens secures your data with industry-standard measures. Please review our detailed Privacy Policy regarding your personal information and content.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in Lens (excluding User Content) remains Lens's property. Feedback provided by users may be implemented by Lens without compensation.
7. Liability and Indemnification
Lens is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages. You indemnify Lens against claims related to your use or misuse of the Service.
8. Termination
Lens may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to Lens and content may cease immediately.
9. Changes to Terms and Service
Lens may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use after updates implies acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved amicably; otherwise, standard legal procedures apply.
